Stripped my gearbox to bits to change my final drive. I was changing from a 3:98 to 4:18 in my F10. Only to discover that it already has a 4:18 crown wheel and pinion!!

Back together now, and i hope it works when the engines sorted.

Learned alot today, and i'd be fairly confident to work on a gearbox in future, haveing never touched one before today!

Ive a F13CR in my 1.5TD Nova, Made her quite nippy and nvr any probs

I could never hold up to f13 boxes. Every singe f13 ive ever had ended up the same way. Teeth stripped of gears - Fell into diff - punched holes in difff - drained of oil - shat the bed.
