Exactly and bits of belt go in around the other belts and it's all pure boke. If its the pulley I wouldn't drive it.Until the belt disintegrates

Belts generally don't just disintegrate, the new one will more than likely do the same. A pulley or roller must be seized.

Car won’t be going anywhere. RAC guy came out there and confirmed tensioner pulley was about to give way.
Will ring back BSC tomorrow to see if they can take me on Wednesday or sooner

Switch the Tuesday spot for the Q5 and book yours in for the later slot.

Booked in with BSC on Wednesday, RAC recovery tomorrow morning. Its due a service and was booked in elsewhere in 2 weeks (nearest appointment from 2 weeks ago) so BSC said they could do that too 
Hope to get it washed tonight so its a bit more presentable - no idea how she gets the car so dirty on short runs compared to my 50+ mile commute 5 days a week!
