audi central locking issue

my central locking keeps loosing sync, its not the key, when i do the sync process of holding down the lock button for a few seconds whilst locking the car with the key all doors lock then i can unlock it most times with the button on the key, but then the next time i go to unlovk it with the button it wont work i have to unlock with the key, put key in ignition turn on and press the unlock button on the door (sometimes that doesnt work but mostly does)

any ideas?

Sounds like the convenience control module playing up. What year of Audi is it?!

My TT done similar, now the remote doesn work 98% of the time unlock or lock....maybe once or twice when i accidently click the button randomly it works.
