I though I would put a few photos up of my Mk3 TT. A few of the traders from the forum have done some work on it over the past few weeks.

Blackline have corrected the stance and tuned the ECU and TCU. They also helped with with stripping down the calipers which have been Cerakoted at Nu-Luk Wheels. Nu-Luk also refurbed the wheels which were a terrible matt black when I picked this up. Colourtec in Lisburn have resprayed the spoiler which was also matt black and looked really out of place, they also sprayed the wing mirrors gloss black. Finally I was able to collect it today from Pete at PMG where it got a paint correction, badges put back on and a ceramic coat. I hope the photographer doesn't mind me using these!

It's not a classic or as exotic as some of the machines here, but it makes for a really fun daily driver.

Cheers!
Chris

Thanks. I'm all delighted with it .

No further plans for it except maybe a Remus exhaust, just to give it a deeper bark.

It’s a 2.0L petrol engine. Basically the same as in a Golf GTI I think. It goes well with the Stage 1 tune on it.

It was actually a little flat I thought before it was polished but it just screams now. I love it.

Bringing the wheels back to the gloss grey with the diamond cut really lifted it too.

Very nice - I regularly wash a mk3 TT and I love driving it. Its a 2.0T Manual so a nice change from my DSG S3

Blackline Performance put a post in their thread about good and bad refurb work done on the calipers. Nu Luk did the Cerakote which leaves a classy finish, OEM but better. Here are some before and afters…

Just over 14 months and about 5k miles with this now. It has been flawless. No issues with any of the work done by the suppliers above and the ceramic coating is holding up well.

I am thinking seriously about advertising this for sale in the next while but prices are all over the place.
