yes he is reputable and a top class bloke, i know him very well. most of the cars he sells are immiculate but he would have the odd dog lying round. I bought a 325i sport, 1 scooby and 2 twincams off him in the past.
since when he turn genuine???? any time me or my mates travelled hours up to see stuff he had it was always rust ridden rubbish....to be fair thats good while back but hard to see it changin.....
hes a trader ok but make sure you take someone who knows wotever car your going to look at jonny, i have seen a few coupes jason had for sale and if its anyway decent its usually very very expensive.
cars just in from england the week before with 1000 quid or so added to the price, hear he has some good stuff at times, as he buys what he can shift quickly, but if it seems anyway reasonably priced walk away
A 325i is the plan Pete aye.I know what my budget is and i know what i should be paying-if its too pricey itll be a "nah".Thanks for the latest comments-gives another perspective to things
He can get the stuff but he will do you to the balls, if he thinks your an easy target, friend bought a corolla of him and he said it had full mot, he then made out he couldnt find the paper work, friend had already given a deposit and stintson told him he would look it out, after he bought the car it turned out it wasnt tested at all! I would only go and look as a last option, give your money to a real seller who's had the car a year or so not some one trying to make a quick buck at your expense.
as i said before i have bought plenty of cars off him in the past, he can get the car your after for the money its worth, anyone who specialises in coupes or 325s are not going to sell them for next to nothing as there is always going to be someone looking to buy one. Buying off anyone who has owned the car for a year or so is just as risky if not more so as they probably have diffed the **** out of it anyway and is one of the reasons they are getting rid of it. wee tip tho, take a look at most of the crossroads and junctions within a mile of his house as he is only 20 and likes to test his cars well.
Jason - not trying to be smart, but Autotrader.co.uk, Findit.co.uk or E30 zone is probably your best bet. Pick out a few good cars, slap the location into mutimap.com or aa.com, get as much info on them as possible and bob's yer uncle.
Just don't do what I did. Pick one car, have your heart set on it, fly over, discover it's a dog and leave yourself stuck in Birmingham on a Saturday afternoon with no flights home and none available for two days...........
it aint goin over tis the old boy, fancy's a few sports see how they sell!! he seen a few at a liverpool auction but prob best buying private, altho he's more into vans this weather! know anyone looking 2002-2003 berlingo's?
There are always plenty for sale in the midlands. All within an hours drive of Birmingham. If you use a B90 postcode it should bring up birmingham and then see what comes up.
As said above the E30 Zone always has a few nice cars for sale. I got mine from there and almost bought a couple of others from it.
Yeah E30 zone is a good bet as the cars have been owned by enthusiasts and maintained. Most cars in england havent been diffed about either as they just like the odd drift round bends over there.
As for stinson, he goes through autotrader and rings about any 325 he sees. He does bring them in from england and everything is advertised as 'mint' or 'rust free' 'just in from mainland'. He lives about 5 miles out from aughnacloy on the dungannon road. The stuff shifts really quick as people really want these cars at the minute and he knows it which is why he has good cars but he also has a few dogs. His lowest price for a sport is around £3400 and thats for a rough high miler out of england with cloth interior. If I where you keep checking the net and find your own in england as you really want a good example with leather interior. If you hit it lucky you might get a good example for sale over here just like I did
