B5.5 Passat 2.8 V6 4Motion

So I managed to pick this up a month or so back.. 52 plate and seems to have been very well looked after, all belts have been done as well as the clutch.. bought it with 95k on it. Nice in the silver with the 1/2 leather.. even has a detachable westfalia towbar.. handy for the bikes.. Not much to do really, just sort wee things with it..

Comes pretty loaded.

Dem pipes though!! they will be coming off!! why someone would ever build an exhaust and put those pipes on like that!!

Couple of small things to sort out..

Headlights - borrowed a mates polisher and gave them a quick once over..

Also gave the front seats a de-bobble treatment

Next up was the exhaust tips.. Just bought some cheap screw on tips from ebay for the meantime.. maybe too small but better than they were..

I have also fitted rear parking sensors.. 1.5 hr install and handy just being silver £13 off ebay!! I also fitted an induction kit which I had lying about.. starting to sound well.. it's not that fast but has direct power and seems very capable with the 4wd..

Looked very nice when i was around last week, the exhaust tips did catch my eye.

Initially i though they were too wee, but they're nicely subtle.

Very similar to mine only mine is a Highline 1.9 TDI. Bought mine as a stop gap car and have ended up loving it. I've put a set of Phoenix wheels and a lip spoiler on mine as well as polishing up the headlamps and fitting a 4300k OEM look HID kit.

What is it like on fuel? I imagine it's on the thirsty side.

I thought these would have come with the factory Xenons as standard...my other halfs old 130 TDI Sport had them and they were great

Yeah I like the Avus wheels, I had them on my B6 A4 a few years back.. I like these in the 17".. B6 passat sports.. OEM+ look

VW Atlanta's. These were a no cost optional extra on the W8's which very few people opted for.
