I think the z4M I had would have the legs on my e46 m3. Same type of thing. Given the choice I would never have sold the Z

Surprised at that, most people seem to think they were even sharper than the equivalent engined e36 M3 - which wasn't a slouch. Was your mates the earlier engine or later engine?

I'm pretty sure it was the later 321bhp one, same as the m3 evo.

They did get rid of it later due to needing vanos work though but I think it was healthy when I drove it.

Did they have longer gears than the m3 maybe?

I sold mine with 72k miles on it and full BMW history in 2013. £10,950.

What a weapon that car was. It tried to kill me every time I drove it lol

They look well from some angles but the brutal roof shape throws it all off for me, very Pope mobile-ish.

Seen one on the portrush road last week with a roof rack/bicycle stuck to it.

Forgot you had 1 of these G. Seems to be a bit of a trend here of you getting rid of BMW's which are now worth big money .
