As some of you may know i am in the middle of building my first fibre glass boot build

the orignal boot build was ALL wood and sub boxes

this time im using a mixutre but added a few curves! :laughing:

anyways this is my first time trying this so ill welcome all critiscism's but as long as they are constructive lol

at the min im pretty pleased with what i have done - taking ages still and I keep changing my idea and think of new plans :confounded:

(i also have some more pics on my phone but cant get them on the comp :confounded: )

looks very good for a first effort, im im pressed! as brendy said it must weight plenty, lots of sanding! are you going to trim it all or paint and trim?

to be honest it isnt that heavy

the previous build had a lot of wood and 2 very heavy sub boxes 1 more amp and another sub - i mite be sitting on same wieght or less

getting it trimmed in grey alacantra to match the pods and pillars up front but going to use black i think with a sketch on it im not sure yet

hope to have the matting and pon done by the end of the weekend and get it away to SIM for trimming

its not that hard you just have to be patient and have good endurance lol

my forearms are twice the size :p

Liking this alot young chap!!

i toyed with a fibreglass install but decided that i couldnt be ar$ed!!!!

Keep it up tho!! Get it done and enjoy it before you move onto your new challenge!!

i would go back to AA if it was closer! lol campsie is just 20miles away

also the gf now drives so im not in portadown as much anymore! :worried:

if ur looking frosted perspex panels i can do frosted vinyl, looks the same, only cheaper ;) :-#

Looking good boydie, would hate to think how much it weighs but bar that very impressive. I remember the days of boot builds, much fun was had snorting mdf dust :laughing: Keep er up lad. Don't think I could live with a build again but ohhhh how I miss my sounds! Think the next motor will actually receive my components and EQL which are sitting gather dust on my shelf lol...
