That was a surreal built, spent ages around that car, amazing work!
Il pass on the good will. He'd unveiled it on his social media the day of the show and has been inundated with requests to build stuff since. Just to talk him around to doing my chaser :monkey:

On the RMS Blog: Belfast's Titanic Quarter and the Titanic Exhibition Centre within to be precise, came alive yesterday (August 13) for Northern Ireland's newest automotive event – BUILT.

From the previous day (Saturday 12 August), the internet was alive with teaser snippets of what could be expected, what was already within the exhibition centre and the general vibe leading up to this all-new event was positive.

Ouch! That's some shunt, poor fella, sore and gutted I'm sure. Lucky to be alive though going by the damage.

Always a worry in an old car, they don't take a hit too well!

To be fair the passenger area doesn't seem to be too crumpled and neither does the roof. The crumple zone at the front seems to have taken all the impact bar the kink in the sill.

The whole Built team were heartbroken to hear about Ronan's accident and our thoughts are with him. I for one would be completely devastated to lose a car as stunning as that but the main thing is that it wasn't fatal. Broken bones will heal and cars can be replaced but lives can't. It's a sad reminder of just how fragile we are on the road, particularly in older vehicles.

We wish Ronan a speedy recovery and if theres anything we can do to help we will!

Holy smokes! Looks to be a lucky boy to have survived that. As Bryan said, its actually very reassuring that the passenger area stood up to the impact (bar the floor).

That going down in to Broughshane?
