Car Racing at Bishopscourt next weekend. 18 and 19th of may

Hi guys thought I’d just mention this. That there is car racing on this weekend coming at Bishopscourt. Formula Boss is back this year too an hopefully we will put on a good show.

Hoping my engine will be back this week. I’m off to castlecombe the weekend after next then Cultra hill climb the week after that. Not sure when, but I’ll get to Kirkistown for a test day in June for sure.

BOSS Ireland are the fastest cars in Ireland. They are largely Formula 2, Formula 3 and World Series machines. The current lap record at Kirkistown is 50.782 seconds and is held by Philip Shields in an GP2 Dallara.

I copied that above 👆 from the internet. Last years Malcolm Templeton trophy we managed a 52.0 dead around Kirkistown, I highly doubt we could beat that time of a GP2 car with the little power we have tbh. Next rounds Is in Kirkistown in 4 weeks we Will certainly give it a bash. 🏎️🏁
