I remember reading on here about a local chap who specialises in carbon fibre.

Does anyone have his contact details? I need my front splitters re-laquered and a couple of scratches removed from my drivers door panel.

surely if its only the laquer that needs fixing then any bodyshop can do it? flatten down laquer, repaint with new laquer, bake then polish?

most carbon fibre work is done with gelcoat not laquer, well the well made stuff is. If rubbing down the gelcoat/laquer make sure not to touch the fibres at all or you will distort the weave.

If its bits off you CSL Id give it to Chris Gaw rather than some plonker mess it up on you. Especially at the price of it!

aye ghris gaw did my work and KRCR (Kilaughy Road Commercial Repair) beside him did the laquering.

sadly i`ve to get my rear spats replaced as the resin has reacted and gone all cloudy :worried:

KRCR fixed geoffos bonnet on his 206 when the laquer started flaking.
