GTR here if you want it lads. It might be slightly different come this event though
Just a reminder that entries are now open folks, we have had a few nice entries already. Space is limited on the day so if you want to show your car get your entry in.
Cars at the Mill
I think you've picked me up wrong bud, it wasn't a complaint or running the show down at all, it was just an observation from me, I'm not angry, i just didn't read the information on the show properly. I understand it's a more specialist performance petrols show and there's nothing wrong with that.I've read back the thread myself and I struggle to see your point. Especially the post where I said it is a charity show and everyone is welcome.
Jayme had asked for people with interesting cars to help with promotion of the show which I feel is fair enough.
I had told jayme to ignore your post @Brennan but when I read it i felt I needed to address it. We have had over 60 applicants already. Some concourse, some not...
amongst entrants we have had porsches, novas, a maclaren, an i8, firenzas, volkswagens, audis. Warren Mercer has entered his gtr and Mark King who I believe is a member on here.
We are going to have an amazing range of cars at this show. Something which jayme and myself said we wanted from the off. A show for car enthusiasts. And the way it is shaping if you're a car man you should want to be at it...not running it down publicly before the day has even taken place. It has the makings of a very popular show in its lovely unusual venue.
I apologise if I have come across a bit heavy here but the amount of man hours we have put into this show already is collosol. We want to raise a nice some of money to hand over to the KBRT. A charity very close to my own heart.
So if anyone wants to enter a car...please do..you will be most welcome.
I could be wrong but I think Brennan was moreso having a poke at himself and that he felt his car might not be worthy, it's kind of praising the content of the show.
