Pfft try buying the 130 in a forecort :p. I enjoyed it, i met alot of old friends and some new ones made 2-3 business contacts that ill more than likely be working with in the future. I full on mcgyverd my injection pump on the way down at the side of the road. leaked oil/derv all over the floor of the place, was a good weekend.

Anything new too go too is always a bonus in this country, variety is the spice of life :p

Fair play to the ILB guys for having the kahoonas to give something like this a go, not to everyone's taste but it was never going to be.

These guys work damn hard at what they do, think back only a few years ago they were the kids without driving licence's just taking pics and posting them on a forum, from that to this is a massive step and a massive gamble.

Hats off to Adam, James and the other guys for even giving it a go

I went for a nosey today with @Lee A

Firstly, I did personally think £15 was a steep price, but sure, if it was free people would still complain. In general I thought it was actually very good, I liked the variety and range of cars and its evidently a modified car show. Some cars I questioned to myself why they were in there but then again each to their own, like the big merc thing that was heavily caged, whats its purpose or did it even have an engine? Overall I thought it was well done and as @avo5021 has mentioned, they have come so far so kudos to them.

I loved the way the cars were spaced out meaning plenty of room to actually appreciate them and get a good look, all other shows have everyone squeezed in , my only complaint is my own car wasn't in it lol

Ps i was more interested at seeing how big the place was now that B&Q have gone

Was great to have use of a facility like that old B&Q with the weather we get.

Hopefully the show runs again next year but I doubt it will be there, I think there are plans for that site.

I thought the show was ok, but a 'weekend pass' ticket was overkill - we went round the whole thing in an hour. 2 days access not required lol.

Don't know why some of you would criticise it, I thought that the show was lovely organised and £15 for two day entries is not expensive at all. Some very nice vintages cars there and something different too. Waiting to see the photos though as I bet they will be much better...It all depends on Which Angle You Are Looking Into The Matter !

Those Honda bikes are absolutely tasty:grinning: would love to get one someday.

Yeah seen that myself more than once.

@WSM that wasn't your skyline was it?

@baron your porka was a thing of beauty! My favourite modified car there by a mile.
Nope. My car wasn't there. I didn't want to leave it overnight and I'm away at the moment anyway. I had told @big_pete he could take it if he wanted but as he mentioned seems others weren't interetsed. I wasn't interetsed in leaving my car overnight either.

Awesome show from start to finish.
That mk2 was built by a mate of mine. Unbelievable car - it genuinley terrifies me the way it gets up the road and round corners.

Big power and weighs nothing, it must be an animal!

Chap I know has an SR20 in a Twin Cam, I haven't been in it, but apparently it's a total weapon and it has much less power than the Mk2 of your friend's!
