:x NOTICE OF UPCOMING EVENTS: Drag Strip Racing, Track Day, Diffin arena, Full Race Program.

More dates will be added in the coming weeks. With your help these will be the biggest events of the year. This is gonna be a SMOKIN SUMMER!
I am the organiser of the NI Rally-Racing Championship and head of Sideways Racing Club. We are an independent motor racing organisation.
We have decided to make our events more widely accessible, enabling us to accommodate everything from our own racing cars to cars from rallying, sprints, autograss, stock cars and even road cars. By altering our format we can open the door to every type of car imaginable (in time possibly to bikes and sidecars too!) Although the format will develop as we gain experience, this is how we plan to stage events in the near future:
11am to 1pm FREE PRACTICE for our racing cars will run concurrently with cars entered in the ‘Track-Day’
First Race 1pm Full SWRC race program. Depending upon entry numbers we are prepared to run separate
classes for other racing formulae EG autograss, stockcars or single-seaters
Approx 4pm DRAG STRIP COMPETITION. This is open to cars issued with a ‘Track-Day Pass’.
Alternatively spectators can enter their own car at this stage of the proceedings, as too can our racing cars. As with the Track-Day the only requirement is a helmet, competition or road licence and of course the appropriate entry fee.
The Drag Strip section will include Minimum 2 Runs (a practice / dummy run and at least one competitive run) and will be run as a Knock-out competition. Entry fee for the competition will be £10. The prize structure will be:
1st £30 + Trophy 2nd £20 3rd £10
As this competition develops so too will the prize structure so TELL YOUR FRIENDS!
The Track-Day entry fee is also £30 and includes:
1. Unlimited laps around full racing circuit from 11am to 1pm
2. Admission to spectate during SWRC Race Program
3. Entry into Drag Strip Competition
As usual the entry fee for the SWRC race program is £30 and includes free practice from 11am to 1pm.
Surely this is too good an opportunity to miss for all those budding racers out there!
