That Cayman looks knackered...
Don't get the lowering scene at all!
It's on bags or hydraulics.
Chris donnelly owns itCheers for the summary @Ben E, I couldn't hang about for the prize giving.
Does anyone know who owned the OEM red MK3 GTi, near the main indoor picnic area?
It's still alive, just in storage, waiting for the whole scene to do full circle and it all comes back in style lol
Show was dead on, worth the dander around once a year. Some really nice motors.
As said though, pretty boring looking at the same vag stuff buried on airbags and some of the cars inside had pretty poor paintwork, few looked to be washed with bricks, this is down to owners really though and maybe the lights made it stand out a bit more, my own isn't great but if im entering to any show, i would go to the effort and make it as good as possible. Grass section outside was waste of time, same as last year, random southern dung parked up.
Very well organised though, hats off.
Couldn't help but think the same show but with high quality cars of all makes would be deadly, maybe a shed full of German, and another full of jap etc
Did you see the red Mk2 with the R32 conversion, also lovely and very unassumingCar of the show for me was robins r32 as above, absolute perfection.
Myself and @Carson were talking about the same idea. Something along the lines of a Pistonheads show, all marques but more directed at high performance cars from all era's. Ranging from things like Sierra Cosworths to modified and standard cars like RS6's and M4's etc! Think something like that would be really good.
This is what we are hoping for (in slightly smaller scale) at our BBQs this year.I liked the RMS anniversary show at Junction one a few years back for this.
Thought it brought out a great mix of cars.
