E53 X5 Head unit upgrade

Have a 2007 x5 looking to upgrade the display unit to possibly an apple play or android, somthing that connects to the phone and plays away but also has the radio stations as the old original screen unit starting to play up as they do. Not looking to spend a fortune or looking all the bells and whistles just something simple if possible. Also in belfast

I put an aftermarket unit in mine. Made a massive difference as the OEM unit was terribly dated.

yeah that looks spot on if i could get someone in belfast to fit something like that, i will maby try halfords i just wouldnt have the patience to do it myself. i have seen a few videos on youtube but all seem different set ups

I bought an e53 earlier this year and the screen looks posh. So had been considering doing the same, mines a live TV one so didn't want to get rid of that but would like one of the android style ones
