Strange. How would pit stops work?Ferrari testing wheel covers at Fiorano (that's what article said).

That's what I was wondering. Does the wheel cover and tyre come off as one unit??Strange. How would pit stops work?
you surely don't believe that? I think it was just experience from Max to not respond to early to lando's pace to save a bit of tyre for the end, as you'd see Alonso do on a regular basis. And tbh the only reason he didn't catch him was that lap he was super scruff and lost 6 tenthsCan't help feeling it's just sponsors and rights owners having complained and RB making it look closer than it is. A weekend of "oh, look, they're having problems all through testing and quali" and then they just happen to turn it up just enough to secure pole.
Same in the race. Comfortably ahead all the way, until just at the end they just happen to drop back enough to make it look like Lando might just have a chance. But always staying safely just out of DRS range. It's like they're just playing now.
Great steps forward still by Ferrari and McL both.
I guess we'll see what happens the rest of the season.
