Nothing sorted mine out I'm afraid, but Naviwax hid it better than anything else.

If it's dulled your chrome did you let it dry in? Or it must be caustic based.
Either way you've got a bit of work ahead of you.

Not sure if it's caustic based,nothing on label ?
I tryed to use it on the bottom half of the car only but used a sprayer so has splashed into the chrome bits,was washed straight off before washing the car

I can guarantee if it caused this dulling with only a splash it is caustic

Used it at work through the power washer and out of a sprayer, never had it mark/tarnish chrome/aluminum finish. But in this weather its very possible it dried it.
Didn't think it was Caustic based myself but only going by how it feels and smells. Must check the drum tomorrow at work.
Afraid it may be time to dechrome your car, I've tried several things at work and could remove the marks :/

I think it may be the case
The was two,a pink and this blue one,he said the blue was "milder" so I took it

I should have known not to buy anything from that direction lol
Would rather keep the chrome,if I can't get them cleaned up I'll replace them
It's just water from the lakes down here, they die it blue and sell it. That's why I never go in the water
Hopefully you can get it off, problem is its not bare metal but has a clearcoat of sorts.
As a last resort maybe try some P2500 wet & dry paper and polish them up again, tho I really don't know how this will go and could ruin the finish even more.
Only other place I've seen your stuff here is the filling station at tory, they use(d) Clearview.
Would be handy to have somewhere with a little stock

I noticed this issue on my car after being at a local car wash. Not sure on the brand they use but..... does the milky spots feel rough to the touch by chance?

Fella in Campsie does it. He had a graphics place. Its where you head into parcelforce depo. Jag graphics I think. He was going to do my old b7 for £60 but I sold car.
