Hi guys

Chrome around the windows of my dads seat exeo has went very milky/blotchy.

He’s not over keen on getting it wrapped so is there a method of improving and what products best to use?

Metal polish? Magic sponge?

What’s your thoughts @big_pete?

He’s just put this to me so I’d thought I’d ask on here to give me a head start in getting it sorted for him.

Thanks alot
Joe

Any time I have tried to "fix" chrome I have used Autoglym SRP then moved up to a light metal polish if that doesnt work - failing that, wrap is the way forward

Happened to a friend with a RS3 and his roof rails are ruined from chemical exposure. Replacing or wrapping is the only way to fix it.

No problems with wrapping, our Q5 has been wrapped over 4 years now and still perfect

tried to call black water graphics there for a price but phone line not working for them.

Much did you pay for the Q5 Andy?

It’s worth trying water spot remover on them first. Ideally a gel based one. But the only option could be replacement/wrapping
