That is perfection, awesome work! Are there any local specialists who can service Lambo's here or do they usually go across the water for maintenance?
Eh no unfortunately not, I have replaced rear discs and pads with help of a friend although for major work and servicing I will have to bring car back over the water. I’ll want to do this anyways as it has a full Lamborghini history and for re-sale this is something that I would value.
Spoiler makes it look that bit more modern somehow. What are the k-sports like?
Yeah I know what you mean, the K-sports are good, seem very close to standard of not a bit more plush. Might tighten them up a bit and gradually lower it a bit more till we find the happy medium.
Spoiler looks excellent on that. Any plans for different wheels or?
Yeah I have some wheels sorted for it, hopefully get some Michelin’s PS on them after we come out of lockdown.

Do they keep the nose lift functionality too? Sound decent enough

Look forward to seeing this on the Gilford road again soon. Hopefully the gritter won’t be coming this time

Unfortunately you loose the Front lift function, because the car gives the appearance of it being much lower due to the low roof line; it still has a good bit of clearance at the nose atm.

Looks great with the spoiler and lowered a touch. Once this corona is on the wind down I’ll have to get a spin!

Maybe worth a chat to Rick's garage in Lisburn, I know he's had a light blue gallardo in several times for bits and pieces and I believe @mcma1 entrusted his huracan to Rick for an exhaust change

The saving of fuel ferry and flights would surely outweigh the full Lamborghini history?

Aside from that I'm sure there's some very capable independents who have worked on Audi's V10 R8s

No problem doing the actual work by any competent local mechanic. It's just a car at the end of the day.

But if it doesn't have a "recognised" stamp in the log book then it makes a big difference come resale time with a car like this. Much more than a couple of ferry trips.

Just depends how long you plan on holding on to it and all that.

Make a trip of it. Go via the Lakes or Wales or the Penines or Cotswolds or whatever.

Is there nothing across the border either?

Yeah it’s totally down to just getting the stamp...
I could quite easily get it done in work “Charles Hurst” and get a Ferrari/Bentley stamp but it is a massive sticking point when coming for resale to have a full Lamborghini history... like said I’ll take a spin over to Edinbouragh and leave it off and they should have it wrapped up in a day or two.
would be a shame not to really as the car has a fully stamped book every year from 2012 on....

Being in the car trade my eye is always on the market in front of me.... And this week I sold The LP560. This simply was a stunning car and I wish the new owner every bit of happiness with it!
Will be missed but hey..... onto the next one!!
