gear box??

Cant get reverse at all. Its like it isnt even there!

Every other gear is perfect.

Anyone any ideas what the problem could be or is it just a matter of a new gear box??

Its probably just a gear selector,a short bar that puts gear in place,sounds like that if its just reverse

well my saxo was like this, I just completly lost 3rd, it was just like putting it in neutral, wasnt a linkage or anything, ended up being cheeper getting a second hand box

does sound like the shift linkage!!

but unless the hondas have the plate in the gearbag, as slinky said, a whole new box itself may be cheaper

prob rollpin has feel out of selector rod that holds it to the selector fork.

I lockwire them for this reason when rebuilding a box

Apparently linkage between 5th and reverse needs replaced

Got a name of a guy in Larne who is apparently very good so hopefully he will sorts me out.
