Golf Mk2 front engine mount

Just found out today the front engine mount needs replaced on the Golf. I've heard these give problems on these cars, and was wondering if anyone here has fitted an uprated one or anything. Any info appreciated

very common- vibratechnics mount is what you want- get it thru tim styles if you cant get it direct

just get another std mount unless you wanna fork out the guts of a £100 for a vibratechincs one compared to about £20 for a std bonded rubber item

it will last a good length of time. the one in it now is probably still the one it left the factory with

and as i remember i fitted a mount for yourself gambit one time, rear gerrbox mount though from memory
