Thanks Keith, I can't even remember saying that this morning - that must have been when everything was going wrong here...
I will not drive with undeclared mods because my insurance would then be void but I was saying if I can't get something cheaper then I will just not modify it and drive it standard.
Cheers Steveo, I will try AXA although nooone seems to want to cover me.
All the mainland guys are telling me anything around 1000 is good. I think that's completely and utterly ridiculous considering it's a group 6, I have a 100% clean license and it's only a 72 bhp car with a couple of cosmetic mods to make it more visually appealing.
did you ring open & direct? they insure me for 370FC and i told them everything thats on the car
Keith - I'm 21, 3 yNBC, clean license, 01 6n2 1.4tdi 75 bph polo, live in BT38 so not a crazy postcode area.
exactly! the car isn't exactly fast!!I'm really supprised that your getting quotes over 1k modifyed, it's not like you've fitted a supra engine lol.
yeah me too but apparently it doesn't work like that got bell down to 828 with mum and dad both on the policy with dad's points declared.I'd have thought you'd get insured for around £500 - £600 with everything declared, being 21, female and with 3 years NCB
i can get it for 380 for not being lowered. 800 isn't too bad in comparison to what I have been paying but it's double what I could get it for. and the way things are going I would rather leave it standard and sell the springs. the company won't take them back.Take your dad off and just leave your mum on?
£800 isnt tooo bad, you're only 21.

Open and direct told me there that none of their companies cover lowered cars and I mentioned sabre and they said they don't do it. I don't know how some people have it covered and they won't do it again.
could you insure it as remapped anyway? and get it done a month or two down the line?
