if you are buying a car specifically for the track, surely it wont be on the road?

if it's not and you're gonna trailer it, just dont insure it!

A' track' car is just like any other car. If you're driving it to the track it needs MOT, insurance and Tax.

Otherwise, like the Pimp says, use a trailer!

As big pimp says, if you are going to use it soley for the track then you dont need to insure it.

If its going to be used on the road at all it must be taxed, MOTd and insured like any other road car and so you'll have to take out a 2nd policy. If you shop around you might find places that will do you a special limited mileage policy or the like. Usually depends on your age/type of track car etc.
