Interest in a potential RMS road trip next year?

With the success of our recent excursions and forthcoming Fermanagh trip got me thinking.
How about a 3 day long weekend tour down the East and south coast of Ireland?

Take in Dublin, Wexford, Waterford, Cork & Kinsale then back up to NI?

May next year to kick the summer off?

As long as you plan on taking the scenic routes and not the motor ways!

Done the M1/M50/M11 too many times and it's a bit of a bore aside from the Wicklow mountains! The R755 along the Wicklow mountains is a fantastic drive, mind I did it in a less than appropriate rigid would love a blast in a car.

Happy to make arrangements with the hotels but everyone needs to pay their own hotel booking.

Also points of interest along the route to stop off for coffee etc would be great to know.

West coast is awesome, did good portion of it in July but as @Jonny says you’d need 4-5 days to get the most out of it.

Dependant on when I am definitely interested in this. Would be good if we could encorporate a stay over and night out mid way and make the most out of it.

Leave Sprucefield on the Friday at 10am
Head to Dublin
Coffee at Lusk Applegreen
Lunch at Druids Glen

Drive to Wexford via Arklow, Castletown etc
Overnight stay

Day 2
Leave Enniscorthy
Head to Kinsale
Stop for Coffee and Lunch along the way

Overnight stay

Out in Cork for Dinner and Drinks

Day 3
Leave Cork
Head home
