Right, the gearbox has went on my friggin a4, tried agnews but £1500 dont really rattle my cage for a new one.

Does anyone know of any audi specialised scrap yards or someone who has a written off a4???

ive tried both, trainors dont have any same as noel cochranes

2.5 tdi boxes are apparently like hens teeth

car goes forward but reverse if screwed

try eddie torens in ballymoney - he has a few a4's lying around - his number is in the yellow pages

two options, either recon the box £££ or find a VAG parts bin similar box. a lot of different boxes fit a lot of different engines, for example, my o2a box is standard on my 2.0 16v but it also comes on the 1.9 tdi variants also! get your arse onto club gti site on mainland and ask about, you'll be surprised.

good stuff all round then

to get to rasharkin

go to ballymena
then out towards ahoghill
then to cullybackey
then to rasharkin
go through the town and turn right up cathagar rd (or something like that).
head out about a mile and its on the left. if you come to a really tight right hander with walls and trees up the sides you are too far.
