Mercedes Independent Specialist North Belfast? - Need transmission serviced

Can anyone recommend a Merc indie in the general N. Belfast/Newtownabbey direction?

I just need a gearbox service - I can take care of everything else myself but MB have typically made the transmission awkward to service without a proper lift and star diagnostics.

Yeah that's the nearest I've come with so far - without any further recommendations I'll likely go there

It is called merctech.
I've used him in the past with order cars, but before I knew about Creevy autos.
I'd definitely go see Stephen or Alan in Creevys if it was me.

Just Googled that one. Merc Tech it's called...

Personally wouldn’t use Merc
Tec had a few bad experiences as have had family members.

It's just cos they charge a grand for an oil change and they might not even actually do it.

If you’re prepared to travel 30mins north of Newtownabbey I would recommend CH Auto services near Magherafelt.

Apart from NItec in Coleraine, Colm is the only man I would take an auto Merc to.

Its £400 for Mercedes to do it, try McAloran Mercedes Specialist in Portadown, I know it’s bit of a hike but I was down with Chris the other day and he knows his stuff

Tagging on to this thread, anyone any further recommendations on an MB specialist to investigate & repair Airmatic suspension failure on a C class W205? Looks like system 5hat itself yesterday, completely collapsed in my garage (which is fortunate) and is not driveable. Will need to be trucked away. I'm in Antrim town area.

Looks like system 5hat itself yesterday, completely collapsed in my garage (which is fortunate) and is not driveable. Will need to be trucked away. I'm in Antrim town area.

Managed to get her back up again - it had blown the 40 amp fuse for the air compressor. Working for now but I've book it in with Colm for later in the month - unfortunately they have a long backlog for work that requires the diagnostic equipment.

When my system cocked up on my CLS if the wiring broke to the compressor it made the suspension rise to its highest level.

When I burst one of the airmatic shocks it caused the car to drop all shocks right to the ground.

That would be very convenient for me but I found it a strange sort of place when I went in one day to enquire about parts and the proprietor didnt seem interested. Quite mixed online reviews as well, though he always seems to have plenty of cars about.

Why not use Mercedes Belfast or portadown?

Can’t comment on Portadown but Belfast is the worst experience we have ever had with a dealer.
