Well these cars are starting to become an addiction!

With a bit of time off work over the holidays I was sitting one day browsing the Noble owners group when this modified M400 popped up at auction on Collecting Cars.
I decided to keep an eye on it as specialist cars don't often do well on this site and with the auction ending 2 days after Christmas I thought there might be a bargain to be had.
Researched the car and it was a very well know car amongst the owners club having recently gone through a full restoration and with the bids staying lower than expected at the last minute I put a bid in and now here we are waiting for the car to be collected in England and brought back to N.Ireland to join her sisters :joy:

One of only 75 M400 examples produced.
  • 2005, Gunmetal Grey over black Alcantara-trimmed interior.
  • Running 510bhp
  • 41k miles from new with full service history.
  • 18-inch Speedline Corse multi-spoke alloy wheels
  • Upgraded with a front-mount oil cooler, a carbon-fibre splitter, gurney, and wing end plates, as well as a tunnel modification, 2860RS ball bearing turbos with custom water and oil pipes from DTB, dual boost controllers, a Roush (Piper) exhaust system, a fully shot-peened and micro-polished gearbox with race bearings, an aftermarket lightweight flywheel, and aftermarket billet quick shift gearbox actuators.
  • Previous owner reportedly restored the car mechanically, spending approximately 1,000 hours.
  • Full suspension-off refurbishment was completed in November 2022
Turns out with a bit of digging the car took part in the Gumball 3000 in 2005 and then later fitted with a Roush engine/gearbox/exhaust.

Plan is to drive it this summer and have promised I will sell something!

Love that, what a car! Was watching it on Collecting Cars also and thought that was a decent price it went for! Well done on the win!

Awesome machine! I had a run in one of these when they first came out, probably around 2006 and standard it was an absolute beast, I'm sure with 500bhp it's an absolute animal!

Well she is finally here!
Always a risk buying a car you haven't seen in person and at auction but first impressions are that the car is immaculate!
The attention to detail is borderline OCD and by looking at the history and chatting with the previous owners in the owners club everything that can be done to the car has been.
Just need some dryer weather to get a proper run in it as these things like to go sideways when the boost kicks in on anything other than warm, dry roads.
Future plans are possibly a flat bottom steering wheel and different plate.

Thats Fantastic, awesome car and it looks great, love the grey.

A Noble is one type of car I'd love a go in more than most other things.
