Who fitted the clear plastic bumper protection stuff?

I done it myself its a very easy job.

Ordered a precut piece from a chap in Portugal on eBay
Clean the surface well
Soak with soapy water, i used some car shampoo (wax free) and water.
Peel off a corner and position it into place
Continue to soak the bumper and remove the rest of the backing
Position it accordingly
Use a credit card to remove the bubbles of water
Give it a rub with a micro fiber to ensure all water has been displaced

I had it fitted in about 10 mins tops. I think from memory this film is 5microns thick, but i may have to check that up.

No just at standard height. Not many plans as I'll have to hand it back eventually. Anything i do will be fairly cosmetic unfortunately!

its a real marmite issue with the FL MK3. there are quite a few people wrapping the bumper part between the lenses black.

haha, i'm not sure why it seems to sit that bit lower, i know the MK3FL have a slightly wider track, but not sure if it would have made that much of a difference.

It might have rolled forward on the handbrake also slightly.

Small update.
The car made a hole in itself.

A dowel came loose from the flywheel and puched a hole from its side into the gearbox housing.

John Mulholland had it for a couple of weeks but its all good now
