Was bored today so decided to give my 106 a quick going over only spent about 3hours on it (plus it gave me the chance to try out some of my latest purchases).
The condition of the paint wasn’t too bad, as I had previously pc’d it, so all it needed was a quick wash and wax.
Here are some before pics:
The wheels were particurlary bad, mainly due to the road conditions around where I live
So once I had accessed what needed done out came the new wash mitt and washed off the dirt using zip wax (as I haven’t got around to buying a better product yet)
Heres a few pics to show the beading prior to drying the car
The wheels were also done using a microfibre wash mitt
After drying off with an Autoglym Aqua-Dry Towel, I took a few more photos to show the reflections
After this I then moved the car into the garage as it just started to rain:
At this I then applied Poorboys Nattys Wax to one panel at a time using a polishing sponge and removed it using a microfibre towel.
Heres a few pics to show the reflections once this had been done.
And then I moved onto dressing the tyres and again I tried one of my new products, Poorboys Bold + Bright which I applied using a Foam applicator pad.
And at that I decided it was enough work for the day, I was pleased with the out come for spending such little time on the car and for my first time using some of the products and trying the wash mitts.
