Nope, I did clarify that with them, it was a deposit to buy.

That’s crazy you have to commit to buy before you even buy a car. What if you wanted to try 3 different cars. I’ve gone out to Donnelly motor store with a list of 4 or 5 cars I’ve seen to try.

Yes there would which is presumably why he requested a bank transfer. Technically even £100 on the card and £1900 transfer would cover the lot but I wouldn't be keen on trying that out.
