Not quite a sunny day at the beach but Portstewart Strand is always good for a photo Made sure to not get stuck myself but did have to help someone who drove onto the soft sand and got stuck in their VW polo
Car is being getting paint correction and ceramic coating next week so it’ll be gleaming for Summer!

Rebel Green never looked so good @Jonny_999 doing an unreal job yet again with a full paint correction and ceramic coating

Although in his words “that’s the hardest colour I have ever worked on” flat green with a flat black roof just to make it more difficult…

Looks amazing! I have toyed with the idea of speccing a Rebel Green JCW as my company car but I've never been brave enough to - that colour is a commitment

Nice little addition to the interior with the JCW Pro Gearknob provided by Ethan McGillion at Rybrook Stratford Mini. Definitely worth contacting for anyone looking parts like JCW pro kit as they seem to have quite a lot of them at reasonable prices!

A small change but looks and feels so much nicer!

Not too many updates for this just fuelling it and pressing the noisy pedal
Got a carbon fuel cap for it this morning which should just stick on
Insurance renewal went up a fair bit but that seems to be the norm this year unfortunately.

Still looking for a used set of aftermarket wheels ideally 17s but they’re nearly impossible to find and get shipped to NI and can’t justify a new set plus tyres so may just get the stock ones refurbed

The car will be up at Causeway Coast Mini Fair at the end of August but don’t fancy leaving it there all day so may just park outside somewhere and have a look round.

Any recommendations for a mini specialist preferably closer to Bangor to give it a check over? Strange knocking when on idle, pretty sure it needs an engine mount and possibly a couple of drop links too.

Had Mike from Dent Tech NI out this morning to remove this horrible dent from a car park at the weekend… thankfully it hadn’t broken the paint!
He also removed another dent while he was here! 10/10 work and would recommend to anyone needing dings removed… if you can get in contact with him

Wee run up the coast is good for the soul The mini may not be comfortable but it does love a B road!
No chance of getting anywhere near @Cproc14 coming out of the corners… 4wd and an extra 100bhp wins on a day like that

MOT although they did mention that the drivers side headlight was high… I thought they were self adjusting. Maybe not
Installed an uprated GP3 upper engine mount and it made an unreal difference to the driving experience. Much smoother and got rid of the rattle on idle. A fantastic mod!
The car isn’t this dirty now thankfully

New wheels not in the plan but they look fantastic I think! Always wanted to know what silver wheels would look like against the rebel green as it doesn’t seem to be commonly done so just to make the car even more unique I got these.
