Why? Postage cost and customs charges will be dependent on weight and value.

Total shipping and taxes will be divided by no of items, if you have 3 items you will pay the fair share. There is no one person will be getting hit harder than anyone else, but you also must understand that I am not going to personally cover other people's expenses.

Seanna at GMG is going to be as kind to us as she can with regard to pricing and shipping. So will update everyone with any news.

Not a clue.

We may get lucky and avoid them, but worst case is £238 for VAT and Duty at the current standing.

That's an extra £7.60 ish per item. I will do my best to minimise this cost as far as possible.

Now, at the current exchange rate, we could bring it in in multiple packages that cost no more than £390 each, this would put us under the allowance for importing, but the deliveries would need staggered to ensure they arent all sitting infront of the same customs officer at the same time. i am sure we will come up with something as it would be mightily unfair for all of us to be paying any import duty when our individual orders are at most £50 and not for commercial use or resale.

I will figure something out, but I only have so many hours in a day to read/digest and then work out duties etc.

If I was to take payment today, I can almost certainly guarantee you that by the time the purchasing phase of this takes place, I personally will end up being shafted by the exchange rate, as such, no money will exchange hands until the order is placed and in the same way I am trusting people to pay for their items, I hope they are also putting their trust into the fact that this will be a 100% shared purchase with no one person gaining anything from it.

Should you wish to be in on the group buy, then please add your order to the list, with the understanding the price may vary a little due to taxes and shipping like everyone else. Would it be an idea for us all to order separately and leave a note with our purchase that it is part of the 'RMS order' or something like that? All Gas Monkey would need is notification that all these orders received up until a certain date are to be shipped to a certain address in one package?

That way you won't be left with as much to do Pete and you don't run the risk of being out of pocket?
