Ideally I would like a Citroen Dispatch/Fiat Scudo/Peugeot Expert but I will consider any of the following:

Ford Courier
Ford Escort van
Citroen Berlingo (or similar)
Vauxhall Combo

Must have power steering and preferably in white or blue.

Also must be under £1,000.

Renault Extras are a nice wee van... only problem is the older ones don't have power steering.

Gave him a phone anyway.... sounds like a good enough wee van but really want power steering for the amount of 3 point turns I'd need to do in all the wee tight streets round the place.

Will keep it in mind though.

106 van is too small. Need a van with a bit of height, hence the list above. Even the Escort van is borderline.

Would love a 1998/1999 Renault Kangoo if anyone's seen one for sale anywhere. Even in England if needs be.

Hate the Inca/Caddy.... drove one in my last job and detested it. Staying well clear of them as a result.

For the hype people give VW's about build quality etc etc it was no better a van than the 1993 Renault Extra I had. There was more oil outside the engine than in it, the clutch broke, steering wheel height adjustment didn't lock in place and most of all it was as slow as frig (it was only a 1.9D though).

The last fella I worked for had 15 of them not a problem with any, mine was an Sdi not bad for a van
