Steering wheel wear

Noticed the steering wheel starting to wear quite heavy where hands would sit. I would believe it's made of plastic and isn't leather what's best to try and restore it a bit

Not really much you can do, probably much the same as the Caddy wheel. Maybe try a bit of APC like G101 and give it a good clean, might help take the shineyness away.

Are you sure it isn't just dried in sweat? As said all purpose cleaner should shift it.

As well as a cure, maybe there's a cause?
Like rough hand skin, needing a gentle moisturiser rub or a day at the spa.
