When I put the golf back on its original plate I enclosed a letter with it to dvla to re-register requesting it back as I'd prev checked was it available, mentioned that it was etched in all windows etc and would just be a nice touch on the car bla bla love you loads dvla etcGoung forward, my plan is to get it insured, tested, and hopefully DVLA won't **** about too much putting it back onto its original plate
Thats my plan too, windows all etched, original handbook and service history all with the english M reg. When I put the golf back on its original plate I enclosed a letter with it to dvla to re-register requesting it back as I'd prev checked was it available, mentioned that it was etched in all windows etc and would just be a nice touch on the car bla bla love you loads dvla etc

They were! Old tyres were so fuxked they wouldn't even stay up. Its shameful how long its been lying up. After the Anni sold, I'd been turning my head at stuff I'd had and would like to own again, but that would mean less time to spend on this.I saw that when I read back in the thread.
