Yeah clarksons snow depth test's were brilliant, near pissed myself. espically the one where it was liek rock solid.

Alot of that is all staged, as i'm sure your aware, the whole burning things, yeah right the man on fire, the sign, the wrecking the house, and the car buried under the snow. Well teh car buried under snow, could be a real, have seen that myself before.

But like they'd been in jail for god knows how long with the rest of that stuff.

I loved teh backfire of the audi, injecting petrol into teh exhause, basically a flamer kit, lol. but made teh gear change sound nice.

I ve hated Hammond for years.....and I used to get the head bitten off anytime I said it but the same folk now are starting to get sick of him aswell.

I spose its hard comeing up with new ideas week-in week out,at this stage the show would be "re-freshed"if it just went back to objective straight forward road tests.

The Jaguar sounded awesome almost made up for the segment being tedious

Lol, indeed.

F40 was as beautiful as ever!

would have left the 959 for dust too if it wasn't for Hammonds gear change skillz  (I know hammond said they would cross the line neck and neck, but it certainly didn't look that way to me)

Marc my wife noticed that too. Ferrari seemed to have it right up until the gear change then even it started to catch again until the next change. Wonder if owners had some input in the drag race???

Gearchanges were indeed shocking.

F40 is the king of all cars, ever. 959 is just a fat melted looking 911 :p

I enjoyed it overall, best of the series (not that that says much)

Apart from Prescott, I thought that was about the best episode. Historic cars, the jaguar bit, while a bit boring, was better than "we bought 3 cars for 20p and crash into james may" and I liked the moon buggy bit.

Lyons I get the feeling it was topgears 'editing' to keep the race closer than it would have been, either that or the owners only allowed one drag race!

Always loved the 959 but didn't realise just how rare they are. Can only find one for sale on the internet at $525,000.

The F40 doesn't do it for me at all but the 959 is up there on my list to buy if I win the lotto.

The bit with Prescott was hideously embarrassing. Although I have no interest in politics, i have to say he was a good sport for going on, even if they did maul him.

loved the bit with the F40 and the 959. The F40 probably belonged to Nick Mason of Pink Floyd

I noticed the F40 had its plate blanked out in some if not all the shots?

Also loved how Clarkson's watch and the clock in the jag were fuzzed out so you couldn't tell what the time was.
