There were ragging the life out of the car on track and a 4MPG figure made good TV and filled a few minutes of banter between the presenters! :roll:

Doubt it would ever do more than 15MPG but you *do* realise cars use more fuel when being abused,don't you?

Good point, I mean the new range rover only does somethin like 12 or 15 mpg as well. And lets face it if you've got the reddies to own and insure one of these then you ain't gonna be worried about the cost of petrol and don't think it'll be the only motor in your garage either. Not like you'll be collectin sheets of wood down the local DIY outlet in it!!
