I got one of these a while back, just really for torquing my wheel nuts correctly.

The mechanic I use got it calibrated with his as a favour and then said it was surprisingly spot on.

Whether it stays accurate or not I don't know. But I think it's worth a try for just tinkering.

im on my secons stanley one, keeps jumping teeth, near brakes yer wrist when it happens. (arthritis in wrists doesnt help)
the springs in the head give up easy, then i never back mine off after use. *abused tools
