VW ID3 real world (NI) range test

Think they are all due a software update in the first quarter of 2021. Another interesting thing was that full regen on an ID3 is not available until after driving about 30 miles if the battery is full; all of the other EV's I have driven would be able to do that after 5 miles or so.

When batteries are at a high state of charge they can’t cope with the energy coming back so limit it

That’s understandable I guess and doesn’t take long for it to drop by 30% but 5% would be a lot better.
