@andyo44 Hadn't clipped them back in the bumper properly. Mine obviously had that problem as it as a head unit in the globe box now and new speaker cable. But speakers work fine and so does digital TV receiver.

Figured out how to get overun in the Soarer. I think the cats are preventing some pops and bangs....

^^^^^^
Pulled the front brakes off my Soarer last night,
Knew the driver side was sticking a bit due to the unholy amount of brake dust but didn't expect to find the pads virtually non existent and the drivers disc 1.5mm below the minimum. Passenger side wasn't as bad but she's getting a full set of discs and pads for the front anyway

Give the wheels a polish..... then decided that I am never polishing wheels ever again. will have to go over the front 2 with some wet and dry and re polish tomorrow. Hateful ball bag of a job.

2 new continental m3's fitted to the rear pair today also.

That dye job looks first class, what are you using? And any tips on applying it?

I use Ebony Carpet Dye from Elite Car Care in Belfast
http://www.elitecarcareproducts.co.uk/GiftShopDetail.aspx?ProductUID=10031&CategoryUID=2

No tips for applying it, use a trigger spray bottle, remove the headcloth and start spraying until you get an even coverage and leave to dry.
Once dry spray another coat and let dry, each coat will get darker. I did about 8 coats.
Few photos below of the first 5 coats of dye getting darker.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Just ran out of fuel in the wife's car on Boucher :worried:.

She hates when I drive on 0 miles and I'm never going to hear the end of this now.

Haha! That'll teach you! :p

Happened me near the Culloden one day, thankfully I got it chugged far enough to pull in to someone's driveway so I didn't block the whole place! Very embarrassing.

First time it's ever happened to me too. Had to walk round to the garage on Stockmans Lane and buy a can.

I usually say 30/40 miles on 0 is safe enough, but I wasnt 100% sure when it turned to 0 on her.

Clare and I play petrol roulette all the time. She's a bit more daring than I am but 5-10miles could disappear in a blink of an eye in my car lol

I hate playing the petrol roulette game, got down to 5miles the other day and I was straight to the petrol station. I was always under the impression running the car soo low was bad for it? Quite possibly rubbish though!
