Depends on the companies tbh

For ages most companies covered every single mk3 Cav model except the 4x4 turbo so really does depend on their terms

If it's over ten id be giving some of the companies a go

Pros are cheap insurance,

Cons being limited mileage has to be a certain age or model etc, you have to have another daily car and policy, agreed value will require an independent valuation, and you don't build no claims bonus on the policy

Usually over 25 years old for driver but again down to individual companies, some will be over 30 for powerful cars etc too

Don't forget some companies offer limited driving policies on newer stuff too if it doesn't fit into classic criteria

I got agreed value on a 1972 Land Rover with Adrian Flux but all I had to do was take 20 photos.

Have you tried greenlight?

I'm paying £590 for a mg zs 2.5 v6

Only 2 years no claims, limited to 5k a year

And I'm only 24, should drop rightly once I'm 25 next year

Flux are looking £15 from me to complete the agreed valuation paperwork, which is probably the difference between its scrap value and its agreed value lol

Its also about 20% of the cost of the annual premium!

Turd, probably rules me out then. Im 22 and the cars the same age.
I shopped around and got covered at 21 on a classic policy.
Classic mini, mods declared, agreed value, 1500 miles a year, dad as named driver.
I think being a member of a recognised club helps as well. A friend of mine phoned straight after me for a quote and they told him over 25's.

The escort was £145 for the year value agreed and then it was £15 to add the skyline with mods declared with auto line but that's only 1500 miles a year between them.
