Historic Craigantlet Hill Climb

The 2017 Craigantlet Hill Climb kicked off with dry albeit windy weather at the historic motorsport event.  The climb is nearly a mile long, with sections in which some cars are passing 150mph on closed roads on the outskirts of East Belfast.

Dave Uren was the fastest man up the hill, in his Gould Gr 55B, with an incredible time of 40.92s.

Its is run by the UAC so timings are more than questionable as they are useless but all day event and same route as usual zig zagging across the main hill if you come from campbell into craigantlet

| i believe this is on this Saturday. I haven't been in about 100 years, what time does it start? Where do they start from? How long does it go on for?
anytime from about 10 - 4 is what i usually aim for. just park at bottom of craigantlet (or your aul folks house lol) you'll only get so far up the road, then dander up through it all as the pits are on Ballymiscaw Road Course itself is Belmont road (start line marked) finishing about 100m up Ballymiscaw after top Belmont Road exit 144146
