Are you Barry Scott?
I wouldnt panic too much about modifications - it's what we specialise in here and unlike other Insurers, providing you show genuine knowledge, interest in the vehicle and don't try to blag the impact with our people (who are actually quite technical in terms of modifications) you'll be fine.
Insurance is based upon integrity of information provided and non-disclosure or deliberate fabrication will end in either heightened terms or a refusal to offer cover.
We do understand most modifications from both a merit for carrying out and impact upon the vehicle perspective. We regard someone who carefully plans and then spends their hard earned modifying their vehicle to their own specification as a good moral factor which will serve to offset some of the terms for modifications.
Hopefully most of our existing customers will be able to vouch that we are realistic in terms of our rating for after market modifications.
Just be up front and leave the rest to us to source terms for you.
Kind regards
Tony
Take it you need a facebook account to enter? Facebook is the devil. Gotta open Photoshop to remove the Scooby spoiler and M3 sideskirts off the S2 first.
