Is that £47.13 for 600 miles correct?
144kw @ €0.39 per kw (22kw chargers) = €56.16/£47.82 today.

That would have been about £170 to fuel the 850
The day ESB start charging up here I'll shed a tear. Until then, gimme it...

I don't think there is such a thing as an "EV specific" tyre. Just the usual - watch load rating, etc.
They do tend to run "eco" tyres as standard with low rolling resistance, but that's not really "EV specific" either. Just the usual tradeoff between efficiency and grip.
Manufacturers will always push their own tyres. In some countries you can only legally run manufacturer specified tyres and have no choice. Thankfully we can still choose. For now...
Yes that is correct. That is what it cost me to charge down South. Is that £47.13 for 600 miles correct?
was talking to a guy today who just signed up for a new mokka e which also includes in a free charger at his house. i asked him how he could afford it and his reply stunned me. its on DLA he said, my granny has it and we just give her a few quid instead.

It’s been happening a very long time first time I heard of it they had a brand new Ford escort. It’s been that way for years, I’d say alot of DLA cars are applied for by “granny” and used by the sons/daughters family instead you only have to look at some of the brand new motors in certain parts of Belfast in particular to know that’s the set up.
EV grant now going completely. Tax incentives for company cars remain, for now.

Don't think it is that big a deal at this point. A 1.5k grant for, on average, a 50k car really is neither here nor there, is it?
The planned mandate on manufacturers to sell a certain portion of EV, that's a bigger deal in that story I think. Just kicking the ball down the hill as usual.
Are you sure? Quite a lot of extra load stamped versions of regular tyres as there’s so much lard in them.I have never tested an EV that is equipped with EV specific tyres from the factory.
