Bejaysus...do you think that was totally intentional, or simply foot in and hope for the best?

They have been doing it for a couple of years in Japan G. Its simply known as "backwards entry"...

Some have perfected it, but alot of the time, the drivers admit that they either didnt do it intentionally or else weren't aware that they entered the corner in such a fashion...

Either way, its ****ing awesome to watch...

It's pretty damn crazy alright! You're going to go through a few quarter panels having a go at it!

That is insane if some of those guys can do that on command, incredible car control!

I have to admit I have never really watched much of this stuff, so when I do it's always mighty impressive!

A combination of stupidity to try it

Practice to get it right

Talent to perfect it

Dont think a Midget is forgiving enough to even try it to begin with, so i'll get back to you when i do it unintentionally :p

The guy at the top had to enter the corner backwards, because he couldnt see through all the stickers on the front window.

Impressive tekkers (y)

We were chatting to Mark Luney one night about it and he was saying the reason you dont see it a lot in competitions is because you cant carry any speed through the corner

Looks class when its done though

I was thinking about this thread the other day

And my only thought was that its taken the drifting community to really show how to do this 23 years after Ari Vatenen was filmed doing it on Pikes Peak with no run off or safety barriers.
