It's awesome her roadie done it then it was stolen and painted over. Restored back to its former glory. Alas she died far too young before anyone seen her full potential. Pity as she is 1 of the greatest singers I have ever heard.

Alternatively... in race car spec looks awesome. They only made 25 road versions for homologation and the reason the arches look bigger on the road version is the vents to reduce wheel arch pressure (and passively cool brakes). On the race version the arches are completely different and are an 'over-panel' - the vent still features, but is behind the external bodywork if that makes sense.

This one was at Goodwood a few years - quite an interesting history behind it. Rebuilt just beforehand here in the UK too, and then I think it sold at auction recently for a few million. Some cutting edge tech for it's time and rarer than a McLaren F1, but still not great looking. The GT1 that came along the following year looked an awful lot nicer imo.

993 GT1 was much nicer looking than the 996.

Lol!! I'd go the other way to the '98 car. I like the taut front. Whole shape just looks nicer to me.
Surprising that quite a lot of the structure of these cars were made by English firms and shipped to Porsche for assembly. And my wee car has the same headlights yeah!!

I’ve seen a 996 GT1 in Aberdeen.
It looked and sounded rather ropey, but fair play to any person who drives one of these on the roads!

As far as I'm aware it's an original spec engine fully rebuilt.
