Every farmer in NI had a Renault 18 and then a 21 Savanna at some point.

In years to come, they'll be excavating parts of rural Ireland and finding fossilized Renault 1.7 diesels buried in bog land. Most will still start with some fresh diesel, a new set of glow plugs and a Jump pack

The Mk4 Firsta. Had 4 of them (2x 1.25,1x 1.3 and 1x 1.6 Zetec S). Great wee car, fun at non dangerous speeds.

My uncle was a farmer, he'd three R18s, two were Mark 2s with the boot spoiler that went over the boot and down the sides

in the mk2 first was the astra belmont lxi estate 89/90 then the astra sxi estate 90/91 then the mk3 sri estate 93/94 and the mk3 FL 95/96 astra sport estate so has been a few all low enough numbers id say

Si was available in the mk3 (replaced the XR2i and Turbo). It was also available in the mk4 but as it wasn't really a 'sporty' model few people remember it.
