Think they're South African imports or the like (one cortina looks LHD though) by the looks of the reg's and I'd say the rear quarters in the last Escort are to make a 4dr into a 2dr.

Mate of mine in school had use of his dads Renault 5 Monaco. 5 door in gold, tan leather interior and tan dash. Proper giffer shifter but fitted with a 1.7l engine... went like a stabbed rat. Managed a thoroughly terrifying 110 up over Craigantlet.

One of those popped up for sale a few years ago over here, needed some TLC didn't realise they'd the 1.7 in them!

Seen a brown Triumph Stag convertible today in Glengormley.

Have seen 3 old Mercedes SL's in the last week too, a lovely Olive Green one and a white one; both with body coloured hubcaps, the 3rd one wasn't as special but still pretty cool

our footie supporters club used to get the Citybus variant of them to away games.....you ought to hear the gearbox whine on those on the motorway flat out at 50mph....while all other clubs had the ulsterbus variant and they sailed past us

on the plus side it gave us more drinking time lol
