I know a chap who was working in San Diego for a couple of years and bought a Fiero and a turbo kit whilst there, shipped it home to NI and bought a 360 body kit for it and it has sat in various garages for the last 20 odd years. Actually think it would have been good craic once done.

Anyone driven a Maserati 4200? Interested to hear some opinions.

Seriously tempted by one but have zero experience of them and haven’t seen any for sale here.

Yes, an auto one briefly.

Sounds nice, looks nice on the outside. Gearbox in the auto is a bit of its time.

I'd say go for it, see what you think of it but like anything like that, keep a slush fund for if it breaks.

Cheers, and aye that’s usually my attitude just some comments of being very much a gt were putting me off encase it drives like a sofa. Will try and get a drive in one.

haha same, for me Maserati was the coolest brand there is pre the modern diesels etc sold their soul to the devil when they brought them out.

Will see, likely only keep it a short time so not a big commitment but will obviously be a hard sell.

Think anything like that will be hard to shift
I was watching a BMW 645ci for few weeks priced at £2995 then it sold and it’s now on for 5995 😱I’d say it will sit a while,
There was a black Maserati for sale locally not too long ago and think it went quick enough

I think their value to potential cost ratio works heavily against them
Sounds like my kind of car haha tbh realistically no reason why I couldn’t do any basic work myself as the value of the car wouldn’t be high enough to justify keeping up a specialist history, and just hope nothing majorly goes wrong. Will see what happens.
